AST18-Dry mode :
● This is the function which is used during the rainy days when the moisture level is very high this mode makes air dry and keep the room atmosphere cool and dry .
● The air-conditioner in dry mode acts as a dehumidifier by removing moisture from the indoor air.
You can save 10 percent a year on your Cooling bills by setting your thermostat just 10 to 15 degrees higher for eight hours each day, according to the Nebraska Energy Office. The US Department of Energy recommends aiming for an indoor temperature of 78 degrees F when you're at home.
Air conditioner and Dehumidifier. An air conditioner is quite similar to a dehumidifier. However, the major difference between the two is that the air in a dehumidifier passes over a series of Cooling coils (or evaporator) and immediately over a set of heating coils (condenser) and back into the room as drier air.
An air conditioner unit helps to regulate the temperature of a room during hot weather. Some units even feature a heating element for cold winter days when you don't need to make the room colder than it is outside. If you use your air conditioner's Cooling function in the winter, the coils might freeze.
